East Ridge Athletic Assoc. (ERAA) Track Program
Registration is open!
We are excited to have a 2021 season. It will be great to have everyone back on the track and we are looking forward to another fun season.
We are expecting updated guidance from the MSHSL on March 8 regarding Covid-19 management for practicing and competing. Soon after that update, we will put out our plan and procedures for how the practices will operate.
Practices, Spring start: Tuesday, April 20 (weather permitting).
Practices, Summer: Shift to ERHS and increase to 3 days per week
Track Meets: We plan to participate in recreational and competitive (USATF/AAU) track meets. Meet participation is encouraged yet voluntary based on each athlete’s interest. Once finalized, we will provide more information on the track meet locations and dates.
Please bear with us as there may be changes/updates leading up to and during our season that we will need to adapt to. We will continue to communicate as we receive updated information.
Important - We will need parent/adult volunteers to ensure all of our kids have a great track experience. Regardless of your experience level, we welcome and value your support to the team. Be assured, we will prepare you for any volunteer time you provide the team. For those interested in helping out in anyway please email ERAATandF@gmail.com.
East Ridge Athletic Association (ERAA) Track & Field supports the development of area youth runners through training and competition--and facilitates their growth into high school athletes. Recommended age range is from age 7 to 18.
Track & Field can be the root of fitness in many sports and can afford habits that promote good health for a lifetime. Our program will teach fundamental skills for sprints, distance, and jumping. There are no attendance boundaries to participate in the program.
Important - this program is not the high school team and not the middle school team (those are a different registration). This is a separate youth track & field program which begins the middle of April and continues through the end of July.
