Hi families,
On behalf of the ERAA Football Board, we are so excited to kick off a great season with our Tackle and Tacklebar teams underway and our Flag program starting practice Aug 15.

Our program has grown by 68 athletes this year, and there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes from our volunteers to make sure everything happens. We appreciate everything you are doing as parents -- Thank you to all who volunteered at camp, equipment pick-up, and as coaches and assistants. Your help ensures we have a smooth season. We will be looking for additional volunteers throughout the season and appreciate in advance those of you who committed to help.
Practice & Game Info
By now you should have received communications from the respective Program Coordinators and coaches on your season with practice times. If for some reason you have not received communication for your registered player, please contact us. We will also do our best to post email communication on the website, so double check there as well if you're finding emails wind up in a junk folder.
Game schedules will be communicated by coaches. Please download the SportsEngine app if you don't already have it, as most teams will use that to communicate, but your coach will determine what's best for the team.
We also have a new Instagram page, if you're not following us yet please do. Use #ERAAFootball for your pics and videos this season.
On Sunday, Aug 14 there is a parent meeting be hosted by Coach Fritze for the high school team and Coach has extended an invitation to all ERAA youth parents. Coach will go over the One East Ridge culture and expectations of all players, which are values the youth program promotes. Our Youth football board members will be available and on hand after the meeting for questions specific to the youth program. It will be held at the East Ridge Auditorium.

Support to ERHA Raptor End Zone Club Golf Fundraiser
East Ridge Football Team is hosting a Golf fundraiser August 21st at White Eagle Golf Course. We are looking to build our program back up to pre-Covid status as an elite 6A program. Funds are being used for hiring additional coaches and equipment. Special guests include former Vikings players Ed McDaniel and Minnesota's very own Marcus Sherels. Golf and dinner included. We are looking forward to a great event, please sign up and help support our high school program. More info here
ERAA Team Picture Days* -
This is the tentative schedule. Likely there will be some changes, so stayed tuned for more info.
- K-3rd Monday, September 12 @Cottage Grove Middle School
- 4-8th Thursday, September 15 @ East Ridge High School (sometime between 5 - 8pm, specific time TBD).
Our program receives a percentage of the proceeds!
Youth Nights - This year, rather than one designated ERAA youth night, we will be recognizing our youth teams by grade at home games. More information to come!
Thursday: 9/1 (K - 2nd) - Opening night vs Eden Prairie
Thursday: 9/15 (6th - 8th) - At TCO vs Hopkins
Friday: 9/30 (3rd - 5th) - Home game against crosstown rival Woodbury

Spirit Night - We are planning a "dine to donate" fundraising night again this fall at a local eatery, so stay tuned for more on that.
