2024-25 Raptor Madness Photos

The 2024-25 season kicked off with a bang on Raptor Madness night. The energy and Black & Gold that filled the gym was nothing short of magical. The Timberwolves delivered a jam-packed night with competitions, awards, and Dunks extraordinaire. The smiles, excitement, and laughter from fans, players, and parents were a perfect way to start the 2024-25 high school season of Basketball.

ERAA Basketball Programs

	Lil Raptors	In-House	Travel
Grade Level:	K - 2nd Grade	3rd - 8th Grade (minimum age is 2nd grade)	3rd - 8th Grade
Season:	November - January	Late October - Mid February	Late October - Early March
Games:	No Games. This program is designed to introduce basketball to our young players	League play on Saturday mornings or afternoon	All games are part of weekend tournaments. 3 game guarantee for each tournament, and most tournaments have switched to a one day format
Tournaments:	N/A	All teams participate in an end of the year tournament in mid February	Teams play in ~ 10 tournaments per year with one out of town tournament. There is also an opportunity to p lay in the Grade State tournament at the end of the year
Playing Time:	N/A	Equal playing time	Grades 3-6: Equal playing time over the course of a year Grades 7-8: Earned playing time based on effort, attitude, skills/results, practice attendance and participation
Uniforms:	Little Raptors T-shirts and a custom Raptor basketball are given out	Reversible Team Jersey & Shorts	Full uniform to be purchased by player (reversible jersey, shorts and shooting shirt and/or Hoodie)
Coaches:	Parent Volunteers	Parent Volunteers	Parent Volunteer to coach. But must interview for position and ERAA staff selects coaches. Occasionally we may hire a non-parent coach
Registration:	July - September	July - August	June - July
Volunteer Requirements:	None	None	6 hour per player (max 8 hours per household). There is a $200 volunteer buy out option at registration
Practices	Once a week at an 833 district school. Times vary between 5:30-8:00pm.	Twice a week at an 833 district school. Times vary between 5:30-10:00pm (5th grade and up may have practices scheduled until 10pm)	Two or Three a week at an 833 district school. Times vary between 5:30-10:00pm. Eligibility for Participation in ERAA Basketball

The policy of the ERAA is that a player should reside within the East Ridge High School attendance boundary in order to participate in sports programs administered by ERAA. Players who do not meet this criterion but still wish to participate in ERAA basketball will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact the ERAA Basketball Director for more information.
