Sanctioned Meet Information

  • Sanctioned Meets (AAU and USATF)We again encourage these meets for all athletes, yet some may prefer to stick with the recreational meets.  The opportunity to participate in USATF or AAU sponsored competition does require an athletic membership in these organizations. Membership is completed by the parent of interested athletes.  When completing membership, associate with ERAA club listed below.  These competitions offer District/State, Regional, and National competitive opportunities. Athletes first compete in the District/State level meet and then continue to the next round if they qualify.  Qualification is specified at each meet.  For more information on sanctioned meets, see the related links tab and talk with a coach.
  • AAU Sanctioned Meets (ERAA club W3Y388)

  • USATF Sanctioned Meets (ERAA club 30-0419)

Both AAU and USATF require the parent to obtain the athletes membership.  The athlete then competes locally and then you must qualify to advance to the regions meet and lastly qualify to advance to the Junior Olympic Nationals Track and Field meet.

Step 1: Compete at District/State

Those qualifying can advance to regions.
Step 2: Compete at Regions

Those qualifying can advance to the Junior Olympics Nationals meet

Step 3: Compete in Junior Olympic Nationals
