ERAA Track & Field Registration for 2012 is now open. Click on the link to sign up and be a part of this exiting season.

Track & Field 2012

Practice will start around April (weather permitting).  We are planning to practice on M, T, TH evenings. 

Interested in getting involved in the Track & Field Board??  We will hold elections for the following offices during our March Board meeting:

USATF Youth Age Divisions (www.usatf.org)

Youth competitions typically take place in two-year age divisions. These age divisions provide young athletes the opportunity to compete with other athletes of similar ability. The age divisions for competition year 2012 are as follows:

** Athletes who are still 18 through the final day of the USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships are eligible to compete in the Young Men's and Young Women's divisions through that meet. This extended eligibility does not apply to cross country events.

USA Track & Field Midwest Zone Youth Indoor Championships
  • All Day Event
  • Proviso West High School, Hillside, Illinois (Chicago suburb)
  • This is the qualifying meet for the 2012 USATF National Youth Indoor Track & Field Championships. Sub-Bantam (born 2004 and later), Bantam (born 2002-2003), Midget (born 2000-2001), and Youth (born 1998-1999) athletes must compete in the Zone meet and place in the top 6 in order to advance to the 2012 USATF National Indoor meet. Intermediate (born 1996-1997) and Young (born 1994-1995) athletes are encouraged to participate in the Zone meet but do not have to compete in order to participate in the 2012 USATF National Indoor meet. Athletes must be 18 years old or younger on the day of the meet to compete Complete meet information is available at www.usatfillinois.org. Click on events, then click track & field, and then click meet info Online registration can be completed at www.coacho.com and locate the meet in the calendar by date and meet name. All registration must be completed and paid online between Jan. 23-Feb. 14.
