Board Job Descriptions

Director of Football:  

Duties and responsibilities include setting strategy and direction for the ERAA Football program.  The Director will model, set culture, build and lead the Football Board of Directors team, and be a general steward of capital decisions.  This role will partner with the varsity football program to ensure programs are in alignment. Responsibilities also include conducting monthly board meetings, attending ERAA big board meetings, and direct requests to the appropriate organizational areas.

Assistant Director of Football:  

Duties and responsibilities include assisting the Director with setting strategy and direction for the overall ERAA Football program.  The assistant director will manage the Trusted Coaches Certification process.  The assistant director will schedule monthly meetings and document the minutes. This position is the logical successor to the Director role.

Director of Operations:

Duties and responsibilities include ordering tackle and flag jerseys and setting up fan swag/gear stores. The Operations Director will coordinate logistics involved with events throughout the season. This position is the primary coordinator for youth highlight nights with support from the grade coordinators.

Secretary:

Duties and responsibilities include creating and administering the yearly registration process including regular reporting on registration metrics, managing all communication to the ERAA Football community thru NGIN and social media, creating and maintaining a social media presence thru the ERAA Football website, Facebook, and additional media and partnering with NGIN for website support issues/needs.

Director of Finance:

Duties and responsibilities include monthly reconciliation of football expenses, submitting check requests and invoices for payment. Helping ideate and drive any fundraising initiatives. 

Director of Flag Football:

The primary duties of this position includes the oversight of all flag football programs K-2, and addition of future grade levels.  Working directly with flag coaches to ensure culture of “kids first” is present. 

Equipment Director:

Duties & responsibilities include overall management for association’s equipment needs, including leading distribution of equipment,  and other football supplies, evaluation of new equipment needs and procurement, and maintaining organized storage of equipment in association’s facility. This position will work closely with the board director and grade coordinators to ensure alignment on evolving equipment opportunities and with the finance director to ensure spending remains aligned with highest priorities.

Director of Field Use and Facilities:

Duties and responsibilities involve working with the City of Woodbury and 833 Community Education staff to secure and organize ERAA permitted field usage for games and practices.

East Ridge High School Liaison:

This position represents the East Ridge High School football program, helps drive the mission of the youth program, participates in annual parent meetings, coordinates instructional meetings for coaches, and “chalk talks” with the ERAA youth coaching staff.
