East Ridge Athletic Association

Thank you all for signing up for the inaugural ERSC Fall Recreational League.  I am pleased to announce that we had over 100 young soccer players register. 

First, a few calendar notes:

• The session will begin the week of August 17th and continue until Sept 24th.  
• There will be no games on Labor Day (We will substitute Friday Sept 11th for the missed session).
• We will end the season with a Jamboree on Saturday Sept 27th.
• Based on registration we will break down the groups in the following way: 

U5-U7 (4-6 year olds) Monday and Wednesday Nights at Red Rock Elementary. On August 17th we will have everyone attend at 6:00 for our first training session.  At check in we will break the group into two divisions    (One will play 5:45-6:45 and the other 7:00 – 8:00 beginning Aug 19th).  These players will be instructed by two coaches from MTA at a ratio of 12:1.  The focus will be on skill development, fun activities, and small sided games.

U8-U10 (7-10 year olds) Tuesday and Thursday Nights at Red Rock Elementary. We have broken this group into two divisions by gender.  These players will be instructed by two coaches from MTA at a ratio of approximately 12:1.  After the first week players will be divided into teams and each session will be 50% training and 50% 6 v 6 games.

Girls will play 5:45-6:45 on Tuesdays and 7:00-8:00 on Thursdays. 

Boys will play on Tuesdays 7:00-8:00 and 5:45-6:45 on Thursdays

The ERSC Development Program will be one of the most unique and innovative programs in the country for Rec players aged 4-11.
