ERAA Junior Olympic Volleyball

Tryouts for 8th grade and under will be the first week of November.

Tryouts for high school girls will be the week of Nov. 15

At this time we are planning to offer "B" teams at U11 and U12. "B" teams practice for one hour twice a week Jan. through April. "B" teams play one weekend event per month Jan. through April; including the President's Day Festival and the NCR Area Event - two of the largest events in the Midwest. We may add an U12 "A" team if there is sufficient interest.

We plan to offer only "A" teams at U13 and up. "A" teams practice for 1 1/2 hours twice a week Dec. through April. "A" teams play two weekend events per month Jan. through April; including the President's Day Festival and the NCR Area Event - two of the largest events in the Midwest.

We are discussing a U14 and/or U16 "National Qualifier Team" team if there is sufficient interest. Such a team would attempt to qualify for the National Volleyball Championships and travel to the event in Atlanta, June 2011. The added costs would be about $300 per player plus travel expenses to Atlanta. If such a team were formed and were to practice more frequently those increased cost due to additional practice could run another $300 per player.
